Before the widely expected political shift coming in a few months, the irresponsible normie media decide to do their job
(BenQQ 3.31.22) The normie mainstream media from metro newspapers like the Commercial Appeal that that looked like it was imitating the New York Times if not in content but in attitude have all contributed to turning Memphis and countless places like her into information and news deserts. A diet of woke tainted journalism does not a healthy news diet make.

With such an unhealthy diet, now they are in a fix. They are coming to grips with the fact they have to get themselves out of the bathroom before they smell up the whole house.

If they continue their normie suppression of information about the Bidens and the admin's mindless vindictive policies, the facade of VJ--Vacuous Journalism--will come tumbling down around them. The normie media can withstand the conservative, independent and walk-away criticism, but abandonment from main stream, otherwise always normie, Dem TV commentators heralds a disaster for them and the establishment for whom they had carried water well beyond its potability.

Oh, what to do? Along comes a gift from the God of Politics: Hunter Biden's Laptop, otherwise known as the Laptop from Hell.

Now the Normie Two-Step: turning on the Biden's because the New York Times declares the laptop to be a real story. The laptop made news nationally on Tucker Carlson's TV show months ago.

Now that they successfully manipulated their readership after years of having their average readers believe their Trump-bad-Biden-good "reportage." Their ignoring the overwhelming corruption, not to mention everyday incompetence, is coming home to roost like chickens who have been clucking only to each other in the enclosed media hen house way too long.

Average Democrats, that is, the ones whose eyes are opening to the damage their party policies do to the country in the way of jobs, inflation, defense and unity, are now breaking through to the stained woodwork of dark DC hives. Their message to Biden, his handlers and his media: enough is enough.
April 2022

If Trump can sue Clinton, can Cohen be sued for the same thing?

(BenQQ 2.26.22) Trump has filed suit for this: "Acting in concert, the Defendants maliciously conspired to weave a false narrative that their Republican opponent, Donald J. Trump, was colluding with a hostile foreign sovereignty," a 108-page complaint filed Thursday said.

That's interesting. Of course Trump was unfairly maligned by all those he named. Perhaps the only reason he is bringing it all up in this venue is to force information out to the public, including the normie corporate media where it was hardly ever covered outside of their anti-Trump drumbeat.

If he can get his suit successfully heard, then can a voter sue local Rep. Steve Cohen (D-9th) for exactly the same thing? Can local "professional" news organizations be held responsible for simple failure to report (and interview)? Now, he or they should not be sued because that's their jobs as they see it: to exploit the voters and keep information from those same voters, respectively.

No, the voters can elect whomever they want without the excuse of having been fed rancid information by soured media. There are plenty of other sources that dwarf them in quality information. All the Dem robots have to do is tap the keys.

Years ago I made a video about the shenanigans of Cohen called Is Cohen's Impeachment Campaign Kaput? It eventually was.

When can political careerists no longer claim its just all "politics as usual"? The real problem with the Dems: You've got to play the dumbing down game until the country is mired in its own stupidity and it only gets worse.

Somebody in California started sticking these Biden I Did That stickers on gas pumps.
Whereas Putin still uses old Soviet style methods of crowd control Biden and Dems use simple gas lighting--parlance for confusion and prevarication--on a diminishing number of yellow dog Democrats who are finally getting the old party has little to do with their real welfare.

Sure there was that awful election that really raised a lot of questions that nobody answered, Then there were his executive orders that stopped all of Trump's accomplishments that nobody would ever say they supported at cocktail parties in Hollywood, DC or corporate soirees. (Privately some did.)

You know, the Keystone Pipeline for which Biden boasted as he walked out of a news conference he in fact did that without a care that his little pen eliminated jobs and businesses. It also undercut Trump's independent energy position while putting us back to rely on Russian (and others') oil once again.

Then there's the Jan. 6 "riot" that has thrown demonstrators into solitary confinement even as one judge today threw out one charge. Forget that Biden and co. still blamed the deaths of officers on the rioters and ignored--as do his mindless acolytes even today--that one protestor objecting to the popularly perceived stolen election was shot dead at point blank range. No trial.

Then there were the Democratic encouraged 2020 riots for which Kamala Harris proposed bailing out the rioters who destroyed businesses, lives in mostly poor black neighborhoods. Few trials in that criminal crowd (except for the one they tried to prosecute for murder for defending himself).

Oh, and then there's that Afghanistan thing, which is a lot like that Benghazi thing. Both showed the world how bad leaders more concerned about style than substance can so easily abandon their own people, friends and treasure. To this day, Democrats and the media call this true foreign policy catastrophe--it gave Russia and China the signal to start planning for active territorial expansion--a success.

Just keep on shuckin' and jivin' to the media music.

The most recent outrage is Biden's apparently calculated plan to raise gas prices so we all would just have to go out and buy electric. How else can you explain the Dems' fight against Trump's successful strategy to put America on an independent energy footing that lowered gas prices? If Biden voters cannot get the dotted line between Biden policies and higher gas prices, it means the Democrats have an ongoing grip over the minds of their followers.

The right pundits pundited it: Russia was looking. China was looking. True to form for a Commander in Chief that had not a notion about military psychology, strategy or positioning, Biden announced he would never fight Russia, as if such a thing would endear him to Putin and Xi. The exact opposite happened. Biden played what he thought was his best hand like a rookie. Not only that, he said a "minor incursion" was really OK. How much green light do dictators need to get permission from America to recapture their 20th century reinstitute models of government slavery on their neighbors?

Almost immediately the media and Democratic party hacks started the chorus of what a successful leader Biden was with the Ukraine crisis. In reality, Biden dragged his faultering feet in sending arms, cancelled an early shipment approved from Trump, which would probably would have deterred Putin from mounting the first 21st century campaign of ethnic cleansing. Trump's method: never let your enemy know what you might do. Let them believe you might do the unthinkable. Now, Biden has given Putin that advantage.

And lets not forget Vice President Biden himself forced Ukraine to stop an investigation of an oil business from which his son, Hunter Biden, was collecting millions and had or was then pocketing payments from Moscow and China. And the loot was just not for him, but reportedly for his family, the president included. These were with Ukrainian Energy company Burisma Holdings, the wife of the mayor of Moscow and a Chinese energy conglomerate.

The current Democratic propaganda media machine is unhesitant to blame Trump for the results of Biden's bad actions. You remember Trump, the real president who fought off unfounded impeachments and conspiracies to frame him out of office. These attempts were pitched as righteous by such players as Rep. Steve Cohen (D-Tn) who appeared on second rate national media as well as local media to spout that Trump was a crook and traitor. Local media let him snout about unchallenged. Now, the Durham Report is coming to fruition. Let's watch the local media to see if they even cover it.

Expect the gas lighting to continue.

What? DHS Calls for volunteers after Trump era Title 42 Ends. Memphis should once again brace for the ongoing Biden Surges

Video of a feud raised to the duel level between superstars Chris Rock and Will Smith
Hollywood's Version of Tribal Crime--A Multi-Millionaire Entertainer Slapping Another Multi-Millionaire in Front of Their Diminishing TV Audience that Has Grown More and More Disinterested in Their Product--But Duels Go Way Back
(BenQQ 3.28.22) Modern sociologists will have a field day with this one. An industry that at its core job is to play to emotion, validated that of one powerful member against another. Among the most successful in their sphere of influence, one man was offended at a public joke at the expense of his wife so he publicly humiliated the man who uttered it.

There will be debates. Some conservatives even will say Smith not only had the right but the obligation to inflict a symbolic beat down (albeit only one manly slap) for the offense. Perhaps more preferable than a public duel.

Public duels go way back. Andrew Jackson, well experienced in challenging duels to opponents, famously dueled with another horse trader Charles Dickinson. The latter, who had accused Jackson of being a cheat and also his wife a bigamist, met his end in a duel with the future hot-headed President of the United States. (Good we had no nuclear codes back then.)

In modern times, Chris Rock, allowed to play the gadfly that landed in everybody's party punchbowl, made a crack about Smith's wife, Jada Pickett. She had written a book about her romantic dalliances with others not her husband Will who he himself is the subject of defcon 4 Hollywood gossip. This is modern duel territory.

Regardless the perceived offense, and judged only by today's cultural standards all of these dramatic characters deserve a break. Maybe influencing my view is the nature of today's cultural beast itself. After all, we don't live, happily enough, in 1806 when duels were mediated by seconds, men chosen by the duelers to make sure duel etiquette was played out. (But we do live in an era where you can get shot for "dissing" someone because you looked at him or her.)

Nevertheless, as such, it would have been far more telegenic if Smith's and Rock's 'seconds" had leapt to the fore to avert physical contact. Just as in the early 1800's each man's "seconds" would try to avert the duel and if not make sure it was played out fairly. In the Smith-Rock duel, one man might stand to receive the slap with an open hand the other. Or they could negotiate a more dramatic conclusion to their contretemps suitable to current television such as dodging each others rounds from an AK-47 in the parking lot. Whatever, it would be great television.

At any rate, most of the tribal members in attendance approved of the display. Will Smith was permitted to accept his reward for a role of a person most people could care less about. But that's no different than most of the Hollywood product rewarded last night. Not that their bad art. They are good movie art. They just don't strike a broad social chord relevant to most people other than the coastal elite artistes, LGBTQs and to a lesser degree, Democrats. But that's what art is. Eventually, people like it over time.

The only film that I consider worthy of an Oscar is Belfast (best script). However it is the only one that I have seen. By the way, Ukraine, where real offense is going on, seemed to never get mentioned at least by the post event news I saw. Nor were the offenses to the little people, such as inflation, crime and increasing food shortages. What were mentioned, of course, were those damn Republicans.

Hunter's 'Laptop from Hell' May Surface With Scurrilous Information and Implications

The New York Times has just admitted what Daily Mail uncovered a year ago: lots of bad s*** will surface from Hunter Biden's laptop, the stench of which may waft directly under sleepy Joe's nose.

No longer can the Democratic politicians, their allied big tech socials and media propaganda machine pass it all off as Russian disinformation. The facts bubbling up like turds from a broken sewage cannot be ignored and will not be ignored.

It appears Biden tried to avoid disclosing to the Department of Justice that he was working domestically for foreign interests.

Begrudgingly, a former French general Admits Trump Was Right about NATO

When you run across anyone admitting that Trump was right about anything in today's media, its worth noting. But let that person be an official from France and it cries out for attention. In fact, there are plenty of the Democratic propaganda mouthpieces proclaiming Trump is the cause of Ukraine.

Retired Lt. Col Alexander Vindman, the pompous star of one attempted Trump coup by impeachment (and who was rewarded from Hollywood with a part playing himself on an admittedly hilarious Curb Your Enthusiasm segment, said Trump emboldened Putin and left Ukraine unprepared to defend itself. Balderdash. Putin bit off a huge chunk of his neighbor when Barack Obama was infamously "leading from behind." The West did nothing about it, as the general somewhat begrudgingly admits.

And perhaps the normie media Biden mouthpieces have not been able to figure out that Biden himself had been in office for about a year before invading Ukraine a second time under another weak Democratic administration.

The media have refused to look at this possibility: Biden's demonstration to enemies he could care less about countrymen, friends and foreign policy catastrophe left in Afghanistan is no different than Obama's abandonment of Americans in Benghazi. It has the same Democratic stamp of approval.

As he brutalizes his neighbor, and then perhaps others, we are destined to hear more of this political canard from corporate journos who know better but have put themselves in the camp of the corrupt, powerful and leaderless.

A Question Local Democrats should ask themselves:
How has the Democratic Party served me?

(BenQQ 3.23.22) "Cognitive dissonance." That's a term that was first used in the 50's to describe "psychological conflict resulting from incongruous beliefs and attitudes held simultaneously."

Of course, like all pop-sci jargon that ends up being used in magazines or web sites, it eventually appears in political media to advance the interest of one side or another.

For example, Merriam-Webster sites Jean Guerrero Columnist, Los Angeles Times, 24 Jan. 2022 using the term this way: "Ali juxtaposes such humor with questions aimed like daggers at the cognitive dissonance of white supremacy."

She refers to Wajahat Ali, a student from Pakistan, who grew into being a standup comedian that used what she probably correctly termed cognitive dissonance against "white supremacists."

Newspapers since their beginning, learned running stories laced with the emotion appeals to the body politic paid off. That feeling of validation increased readership. That doesn't mean their stories, like Ms Guerrero's, are untrue. At their worst, they are pandering. However, they can do their job to journalistically redress current wrongs.

So how does cognitive dissonance have meaning to the body politic of Memphis, Tennessee? Democrats have long dominated the politics per se of Memphis, its institutional businesses and universities.

In order to maintain control, the Democrats have long maintained the story of what I call "white people bad" politics. Frankly, considering history, that's pretty easy to do.

But its wrong. Why is it wrong? Ans: it blocks all policies from an opposing party that would benefit the members of that party. In this case, the Democrats. What Democrat in his or her right mind, wouldn't agree with lower food and energy prices, safer neighborhoods and an economy that created more jobs and opportunity?

Democrat members had that. Under Trump. This is what is chipping away at the "cognitive dissonance" the Democratic Party uses to keep its members in its ranks.

Panic: Democratic corporate media replaying the same Trump tune to staunch the 'walkaways' in 2022. Beware the hearings with midterms defeat.

(BenQQ 3.20.22) You could have smelled it coming even upwind. Question is will old line Democratic voters, such as the information deprived block in Memphis, continue to fall for the party that keeps screaming fire in a rainstorm?

First lets talk polls even from last year. One such is from HIT Strategies that bills itself as a "a firm of young, diverse, innovative social scientists that use research and data to understand and communicate with hard-to-reach and underrepresented voters."

The Hill (Jan. 22) reported their work to show Biden had eroded black approval from 68 to 48 percent in just a few months of his first year. (Along with specific Biden's failings, it could be--my thought injected here--blacks have realized the old days of discrimination are over and the need for a party mired in racial polemics is no longer needed but actually hurts them in jobs, energy and income.)

I did a video (which I now see that YouTube has removed) about the spontaneous "walk away" movement that showed how blacks were catching on to the made-up reasons why they should stay in the constrictive Democratic club. That reason, according to me: the old non-stop mantra: white-man-bad had grown as old as an overcooked noodle. After its all boiled down, there are pretty skimpy dried up scraps at the bottom of the Democratic pot once bubbling over with the Klan, Jim Crow and the famous 'systemic racism.' And that didn't even work against Trump back in 2018 despite massive documented Democratic voter fraud.

Yet, the Democratic Party elites continue to play the same old canards in political discourse. Now, they are saying he is breaking campaign law by NOT admitting he will be running for president since he has his rallies without announcing. That's a twist. Does the law force him to announce? If so, the lawmakers clearly were out of step like a Trump candidate that simply bypassed the old rules.

Democrats have little left to peck on other than Trump's open sarcasm. Consider this from the deep state rag Washington Post where they blame Trump for Ukraine.

More black voters than ever are saying there are real things to vote on, such as food, gas prices and inflation caused by government spending that is devaluing the dollar in paychecks.

Another example: following the story that had already broke 18 months before--and ahead of enough months hopefully to cool down by 2022-the great New York Times, from which small fry journo rags imitate, finally admitted Hunter Biden's laptop was a real story.

And as reported year+ earlier, in that story was, among other sordid items, possible evidence Joe Biden could be compromised by assorted governments and billionaires facilitated by his son possibly selling access to his powerful dad. And all this and more was covered up by the FBI.

For these reasons alone, see the snarling Dems, like our own Steve Cohen (D-9th), emerge once again to win elections at all costs in order to avoid Congressional hearings that will uncover Biden's alleged financial connections to Russia, China and the FBI coverup to protect them both.

Cohen who parlayed the fake reasons for both Trump impeachments repeatedly before a compliant local and national media, will come out again with charges and claims nomatter how outrageous to help Democrats win the midterm elections.

Added to Biden's previously known knack for always making the wrong decision, his family corruption could go a long way in understanding America's current weaknesses in the economy, energy, foreign policy and basic executive leadership.
---------------------------------------------------------------------

BenQQ 3.18.22)

Since Biden took office, the Customs and Border Patrol (CPB) has "encountered" at least 2.25 million migrants at the southern border. Officials expect those numbers to surge with the impending ending of Trump's Title 42. Trump instigated Title 42 to fight Covid-19. Effectively it slowed the waves of illegal immigrants until Biden lifted the restriction.

The Biden admin fought Title 42 in court but lost. Now it has the opportunity to open doors to the illegals again.

Instead of closing the border so it can physically rebuild and reinstitute a legal barrier to the United States, the Biden admin is calling for volunteers to help with the expected new flood of illegal immigrants.

Some of these illegal immigrants, unvetted and untracked, as well as unvaccinated, will no doubt be associated with the drug cartels and smuggling syndicates. Memphis is on a major route to the north were a lucrative drug market

That one policy falls in line with other Biden policies that are against the interests of the United States but is supported by his progressive coterie in the White House. Biden's immigration policy follows the "unwritten" program to wash the country with illegal and ultimately Democratic voters, some say.

Further, little is reported that the wave of immigrants floods the contract labor market that makes up a large part of the city's economy.

The flood of workers into the contract labor market depresses the salaries of legal American workers, thus making the market institutionally geared for illegal laborers.

Again, those workers are mostly unvetted and unreachable by the people who hired them when crimes or scams are committed.

In another insult to the American people with Biden's ongoing incompetency, Ukrainian refugees--real ones--reportedly have been turned away at the southern border. The DHS sent a memo to the field saying they did not have to do that.

Here's a Look at MSNBC...

(BenQQ 4.2.22) The Uk-Russo war has at least to some degree pushed the standard woke media angles off TV and home computer screens. At minimum they provided at least what brute violent state force looks like. Our parents and grandparents saw it with the German 1939 bombing of Poland for "retaliatory" reasons in the same MO Russia has used against Ukraine.

I've followed media on both sides for years and I've seen both sides simplify their points by generalizing
their targets. The left does it more than the right. Not good. Let's look at one MSNBC show:
Hey, wait a minute. The MSNBC crew is right in a sense. Fuentas and the crowd are way off base--unless you think Putin has an argument--chanting Putin but from that sound, it seemed only a portion was clapping to his somewhat comedic fulminations. Where the crew departs from 'knowledge' is branding attendees at the conference as "white supremacists"--unless you think people who want to control the borders, aspire to law and order and aver massive government spending--are by definition such. Of course, instead of questioning, the moderator egged them on in their unfounded allegations.

Hence, everybody who voted for Trump is a racist. These are the left's 'dog whistles' to their base. BTY, I have never met a Trump voter who identified as a white supremacist or even had conscious leanings toward such.

No doubt many in Memphis passively voted for Biden because the dominant party told them to. However, among that group few if any have found comfort in the resulting disastrous phenomena of Biden and Harris: increasing crime, open border, rising prices, transgenderism, Hunter's debauchery and alleged family corruption found on his laptop, police defunding, Covid lockdowns, military blunders, foreign fails, Joe Biden himself conceivably being compromised by Hunter's selling access for millions from Russian and Chinese players, etc.

Consider all this is wrought by a circumstantial president committing near daily embarrassments with statements that reveal him to be oblivious to his own. Even the slowest Dems begin to see the writing on the wall. (No wonder Press Secretary Jen Psaki took time from her Covid rest to find a new job at MSNBC.)

And then what comes along? Only the biggest war since the Big One 80 years ago no doubt caused by the historical trend mentioned above and the weakness of the current president demonstrated to the world in Afghanistan. For most bungling presidents that would be a godsend opportunity to redeem himself. Not this one.

Even when meeting with allies, troops and victims Biden's words and behaviors are cringing embarrassments. He is America's King George promoted, protected by the normie media, tech establishment and big wig Democratic leaders who have a perfect stooge to take instructions.

I will be looking at the left talk shows more. That's true entertainment.

Will Memphis See a Surge in crime and job loss with the lifting of Title 42?

(4.9.22 BenQQ) Biden will be allowing in new surges that are said to dwarf previous mass surges of illegal immigrants caused by reversing the Trump era border policy. This will effectively send more illegal migrants, among them drug, human traffic criminals and illegal workers straight to and through Memphis.

Little is as yet reported about it in the local media.

The surge also will add to the reduction of contract labor and low skilled jobs due to the influx of new workers in the labor pool, according to economists. However, some counter illegal immigrants add to the total wealth of the nation. This does little to keep the current wages dropping for plumbers to hotel maids in Memphis.

The administration has announced that on May 23 it will lift Title 42, the pandemic-related rule expelling illegal immigrants.

In Sept. Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas refused to tell congress how many of the
1.5 million illegal immigrants apprehended by his department had been released.Mayorkas recently said Trump was to blame for his border failures.

Interior of Soulsville Center Destroyed:
Will Kamala Harris offer the vandals bail?

What Oppression of Expression
Feels Like

Above, a young woman iin Russia reflects on her possible last free video on Youtube.
A "Private Riot" Against Soulsville, Memphis Poorest Community
(4.9.22 BenQQ) From the Commercial Appeal today: "Vandals gutted the Soulsville USA Community Arts and Economic Empowerment Center's building at a church at Mississippi Blvd. and Jeannette Place. Although the building was slated to open the first weekend in May, the significant damage has stalled the opening."

What vandals? Will someone in the community turn them in? Is the crime even considered serious? Is it even considered to some as a statement?

Effectively, it was a "private riot" (my quotes) to which only a few invited themselves. This private riot was unlike the public 2020 Democratic supported mayhem. We are compelled to ask: will Kamala Harris launch a campaign to pay bail for those who are responsible when and if they are caught?

In between the lines of the story is the sense that it is futile to try to build in what has been called the city's poorest zip code.

A reader felt the palpable disappointment and heartbreak over the reported structural damage not only to the building but to its mission that was to be launched in May. We saw no pictures with the story.

Said Vencia Belser Kimbrow, founder and executive director of the River Region Community Development Corp. in the story, "You know, you kind of are able to accept someone breaking in, stealing some stuff. Had they taken the appliances and even the HVAC unit, but what they did was vicious and sheer just evil on the church property."

Will the Media in Memphis ever describe what the BLM really is? Just another racket targeting the easiest market?

(4.9.22 BenQQ) If you are a consumer of at least some local news, you just might think the Black Lives Matter phenom is a continuation of the struggle against the man. Such would embody the emotion of the great civil rights struggles of the 50's and 60's.

Since then of course we've codified civil rights, elected a black president, installed a black vice-president and black families have rapidly moved up on the socio-economic scale.

Actual systemic (that is, officially illegal) white on black racial oppression is as remote as getting attacked by Russia. Wait, maybe I shouldn't have used that one.
But, if anything, the popular race movement pendulum has swung in the opposite direction. Just ask some Asians who wanted to get into Harvard.

That is an uncomfortable issue with liberals, obviously the only group that could care about rights.

So in the wake of the baseless harangues of the media mob, along comes Black Lives Matter to declare what they all think whites think about black lives: they don't matter.

The media driven scam worked. The American people, as well as corporations, churches, organizations and Democrats, contributed to the movement.

Refusing to acknowledge the story as with so many others no in their narrative, the New York Post story revealing that BLM co-founder Patrisse Khan-Cullors, a self-professed "trained marxist," is ensconced in her $5.8 million mansion in sunny Southern California.

The New York Post story has been around for a year, but it is now just getting some traction among the normies.

Durham Wants to Connect Clinton Lawyer to Lies About Trump that were used by Cohen and the Media in Democratic Anti-Trump Campaigns

(BenQQ 4.16.22)

From Special Counsel John Durham court filing Friday: the CIA concluded the information from Clinton lawyer Michael Sussman alleging the Trump-Russia coordination was not "technically plausible" and was "user created."

Bad PR--in at least outside of his district--for Dem. Rep. Steve Cohen (Dist 9-TN) and local anti-Trump media that let him go unquestioned in virtual lock step with his baseless claims. Now, though mostly for unrelated reasons, ratings spiral downward for the Democrats generally and Biden/Harris specifically.

Like a persistent bad religion in an ideological cult, Rep. Steve Cohen even recently still touted his anti-Trump proselytics. Two months ago he announced in his district newsletter he was pushing for another investigation about Trump's "wrong doing." When a reader asked him for specifics none were forthcoming. Instead, a technical glitch apparently occurred, she said.

Michael Sussman, the Clinton lawyer aforementioned, is accused of lying to the FBI when he said he was not working for any client when in fact he had been hired by the Hillary Clinton campaign.

Durham's filing said data was "mined" through internet DNS records of the (Trump's) Executive Office of the President of the United States (EOP), his apartment building and Trump Tower in order to create an "inference" and "narrative" of a Trump-Russia collusion hoax. Throughout the hoax, Cohen and his Dem. cohorts, promulgated it using what is now discredited sourcing--the infamous Steele Dossier. Cohen nor any Democrat, is yet to apologize to Trump nor his supporters, for such statements.

(Below: Aug. 2019 BenQQ Report)

Sussman has pleaded not guilty and sought to dismiss the case. The presiding federal judge denied dismissal this week.
